Great Lakes Barber Shop

This is a bitter sweet post for me personally.. After putting a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this space over the last 4 years and growing it to where it is with the help of a few folks from afar and a very close few from near. Unfortunately life and reality make the most sense for me to close the doors of Great Lakes Barber Shop and pass the torch of the building to to dive into his vision for a business of his own while I settle in down state and plan my next endeavor. Leaving the shop, working with David and all the people I’d met along the way was hard enough in June but shutting the metaphorical doors of my business for another to take its place is a weird, sad feeling but I’ve got faith that David will keep the quality, the community and the good vibes rolling at 508 Munson. Thank you to everyone that helped bring it to life, everyone that helped keep it alive and to every person that walked through the doors and sat in our chairs. It’s been fun, I love y’all 💈❤️

Summer is upon us and we’re going to focus on getting active on here again as it was a busy fall/winter with just 2 of us holding it down. Stay tuned for some fun shop updates! Thank y’all!

A couple friendly reminders to everyone: we are closed next week because with the masses coming to town for 4th & cherry fest our limited parking will be an issue. Also- please remember there is just 2 of us and last minute bookings are usually slim for success, so we encourage pre-booking at least a week in advance.
