Mothering lives in the quiet things.
In reassurance offered without hesitation.
In hands that soothe without asking for anything in return.
In the steady showing up, even when it is hard.

It is not one shape.
Not one story.
It is many forms of care, carried in many different ways.

To those celebrating, remembering, missing, or simply moving through as it comes, may you find a moment of peace within it.

To my own mother who taught me how to care, how to listen, and how to keep showing up with love, even when it’s not easy- I can only hope to become even half the woman you are.
