Spent my day off cleaning bedroom closets... the end result? A 55 gallon tote of linens to be donated to our local SPCA! After dropping off our donation, my youngest kiddo and I spent a few hours visiting the kitties! We snuggled kittens in the kitten rooms and then visited the big cats in the other room. Spiro was one of their fluffy orange cats and he was so spicy 😂😂 he would nip for more head scratches and nip again when finished!

Interview, and bling bingo today! Now pinkalicious parties for all 3 SLICC divisions!!

Today was a busy day!! Onstage chat and prelims for gown, then the charity gala for Big Brothers Big Sisters with our auction items to raise money for an amazing cause.... ended the night with giggles! Off to get some rest. Interviews are tomorrow!

Day 1- Registration and rehearsal complete.... welcome party soon! So excited to be here with my Maine girls! Gonna be such a great week!!

When life throws you lemons.... make lemonade!! My flights were delayed repeatedly and then canceled at 1030 last night... with a limited chance of making it to Florida on time. So what did I do? Tossed the bags back into the car, checked out of the hotel, and drove all night! Made it to Virginia so far and should be at the hotel by 230AM!

10 Days to USAA Day 5! 👑

If I had to choose one thing I loved about myself, it would have to be my resilience. Through not only pageantry but regular daily life over the years, I have had a lot of obstacles appear. Theough those obstacles, I overcame. I grew from those experiences, and each one helped to create the person I am today. I am proud of who I have become and my resilience in life has played a huge part in becoming the ME I am today! 💕

👑10 Days to USAA Countdown, Day 8 👑

Who would I share my wins with..... my introduction into pageantry definitely was not a conventional introduction. However, it opened my eyes to a system that made me feel like I was home, and everyone there at the events? They were my family! They are the reason I keep coming back to MASP. The love and support from everyone within the system is incomparable to anything I have ever felt before!

First, my friends and family... without their love and support, this wouldnt be possible! They support my dreams, listen to me when I am in pageant mode and on a speed talk tangent (and listen patiently), and hekp me to see if I work had to achieve my goals, I can do anything! Next is My sister queens.... this has been an amazing year so far and I am so blessed to be able to experience this journey with you.... I love you all!

Last, the 3 people who have been there since day 1.... Miss Mandy, Miss Deb and Miss Michele! Mandy was my very first local director when I joined as a contestant and she has always been there! Annual pep talks, and the most amazing photos capturing every second for me to remember forever.... shes a multifaceted gem! Miss Deb has been there since day one, and the love and dedication you have shown to not only myself but so many other queens and this system does not go unnoticed. From wardrobe adjustments, to helping me kick shoes off on the side of the stage steps, and so much more.... i cant thank you enough. And lastly, Miss Michele. She has been there on my full circle pageant journey every step of the way. From late night vent sessions, to encouraging everyone to do their best... you have made the last 10 years of this journey memorable, and I feel blessed to call you not only my director, but my friend! I love you all! 💕
