Today this client came in expecting to receive just a fill. She had been going to another lash artist and this was her first appointment with me. As soon as she laid down in my chair I looked down in horror at her lashes! 😨😰They were so damaged from the previous lash artists work I had to refuse to do a fill and tell her that I would need to soak off her extensions and start from scratch for the sake of her lash health. She trusted me and after soaking them off was able to see the damage herself. She said her lashes were a quarter of what they were originally before she started seeing the other artist! 🤯😭😡

This is a story I hear too often! Please please please make sure the lash artist you see is licensed and certified! If the work is cheap or doesn’t take much time they are probably not taking the time to do it properly and take care of your lashes!

When done properly lash extensions do not affect the health of your natural lashes! Today I went very small and light on her because this is the longest extension her natural lash will be able to hold. I am glad she came to me today so that I could rescue her lashes before they got any worse! 🙌🏼

The number one reason for problems with lash retention on clients that I’ve seen is because they are not cleaning their lashes enough if at all. 😱😰 Clients think their lashes are more likely to fall off washing but it’s actually the exact opposite!
