For those of you who haven’t received a email from us The Hair Basin has moved to a suite inside Troutman Day Spa located at 155 S.Eastway Dr. Our phone numbers have stayed the same. Thank you for your continued support!

Our Governor Roy Cooper has spoken. As of Friday May 22nd at 5pm North Carolina Salons have been given the go ahead to reopen. Our Governor along with our State Board of Cosmetic Arts have given us Salon owners and our Staff many new requirements, stipulations and guidelines to follow. The Hair Basin will now be and until further notice a appointment only Salon, our Stylist will be wearing a mask at all times and masks will be a requirement of our guest. If you have a appointment you will be required to stay outside until you have been instructed to come inside so as to not have more than a certain number of guest in the Salon at one time, to allow for us to do the required sanitation after each guest and to practice as much social distancing as possible. I have a list of clients who have had appointments during our closed period and guest who have reached out to me during our 8 weeks of closure who I will be calling to schedule first, if you would like a appointment please message, text, comment or call the Salon and I will reach out to you as soon as possible. As I have stated before our first priority is the health, safety and well being of our guest, staff and our community. Please be patient as we evolve into our new normal here at The Hair Basin. We have missed you all and look forward to seeing you as soon as possible!

Is this you? That’s ok, hold tight, don’t break out those kitchen scissors just yet, in Governor Coopers press conference yesterday he stated that on Friday May 8th North Carolinians will move into phase one of his stay safe at home opening plan. We here at The Hair Basin just like our Governor believe that the ultimate goal is the safety, health and well being of our guests, staff, community and everyone who is affected by this pandemic. When the time comes that we have been made aware that we have the go ahead to reopen by Governor Cooper and our State board of cosmetic arts a plan of action will be put in place that you will be made fully aware of. In the meantime, I encourage you to go ahead and buy that hairspray (maybe not aquanet, because that’s what I used as a teenager and we all know how old I am lol) break out that hairdryer and crank that hair up to the good old days, after all if we admit it we all have been enjoying some of the things that take us back to those days like family togetherness.

Had coffee this morning with a few old friends after we sanitized the Salon from top to bottom. Looking forward to seeing y’all again after we all get through this trying time, our guest health, well being and safety is the most important thing to us here at The Hair Basin. Take care of yourself and your family as we all do our part to “flatten the curve.” Hope to see y’all soon!

Due to current State guidance in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19 Governor Cooper has ordered all Hair, Nail and Skin care Salons of North Carolina to close today, Wednesday March 25th 2020 at 5 pm for a minimum of 30 days. Please follow us on Facebook for notifications of when we will reopen. If you have pre booked we will call and update you close to your appointment day as a reminder.
