Hi! I’m Megan🤍

I figured it was time for a little reintroduction since there are so many new faces here!

I’ve been doing hair for 7 years and I’m a stylist at Strands Salon in Troy, MO. I love creating lived-in, dimensional color, extensions, and I also offer barbering services. My favorite part of what I do is helping my clients find a look that fits their lifestyle and makes them feel like the best version of themselves.

When I’m not at the salon, I’m usually spending time with my boyfriend, hanging out with my three pets (my dogs Blu & Bear, and my cat Jack), reading a good book, or planning my next adventure.

I truly believe getting your hair done should feel relaxing, never intimidating. My goal when you’re in my chair is simple: I want you to feel welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re here for a big transformation or just a refresh, I want you to leave feeling confident and loving your hair—not just when you leave the salon, but every day after.

Hair + makeup have always been my creative outlet 🤍

I used to spend hours in my room trying different makeup looks before I ever really leaned into hair. My mom was also a big influence—she did my hair, tried new styles, even highlighted it… (no she was not a hairstylist 😅)

By 13–14, I was teaching myself everything on YouTube and doing hair and makeup for school dances throughout middle and high school.

What made me fall in love with this career was the feeling of helping people feel confident and beautiful when they see their final look. I care deeply about every client—making sure they feel comfortable, heard, and leave loving their hair.
