Restorative Medical Massage

Restorative Medical is doing its first corporate chair massage event today! Thank you, SEW Eurodrive — we’ve loved getting to know some of your employees and helping them to enjoy a relaxing workday!

A little reintroduction 🤍

For those who are new here — and even those who have been with me for years — I thought it was time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Amy, owner and Licensed Massage Therapist at Restorative Medical Massage. I’ve been practicing since 2019, and over the years my work has continued to evolve as I’ve learned more about the body, pain, healing, and especially the connection between the brain, nervous system, and physical body.

My training and continuing education have included therapeutic and medical massage, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial and neuromuscular techniques, lymphatic drainage massage, cupping and instrument-assisted work, prenatal massage, and hospice massage. I’m continuing to expand my education into areas that particularly fascinate me, including the nervous system, neurological rehabilitation, craniosacral work, and brain-based relaxation and wellness.

More and more, I feel the direction of Restorative Medical Massage becoming clear: helping people feel better in their bodies while creating a space where they can truly slow down, decompress, and regulate.

I love the clinical side of massage, but I also believe healing isn’t always about working harder or deeper. Sometimes the body needs targeted therapeutic work, and sometimes it needs gentleness, rest, and an opportunity for the nervous system to settle. My goal is to continue bringing those worlds together.

I’m continuing to welcome new clients at my Troy location, and I’m excited to see Restorative Medical Massage continue to grow and evolve. 🤍

Appointments can be booked online here:

You can also book through Facebook or Instagram, or feel free to call or text our office at 937-818-7869 with questions or to schedule.

At this time, I do not accept insurance, although that is something that may change in the future.

And to everyone who has supported my little business — thank you. Your appointments, referrals, kind words, and Google reviews truly help a local small business grow. If you’ve enjoyed your experience at Restorative Medical Massage and haven’t left a Google review yet, I’d be incredibly grateful if you took a moment to leave one.

I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, grow, and see where this next chapter takes us. 🤍
