Midlife reset in progress ✨
Wellness, healing, mindset, and simple routines that make life feel lighter.
Your scalp remembers what your body went through.
I know because it happened to me.
A few months after a really stressful season, my hair started shedding in a way that was so scary.
Huge clumps in the shower.
More in my brush than I’d ever seen.
And the hardest part?
The stressful moment had already passed. I thought I was “fine.”
But my body was still catching up.
When we go into survival mode, the body reallocates resources. Hair growth becomes non-essential. Then about 12 weeks later, the shedding shows up.
Not because you’re broken.
Not because you used the wrong product.
But because stress leaves a physiological imprint.
What changed things for me wasn’t switching shampoo.
It was regulating my nervous system.
Stabilizing my blood sugar.
Prioritizing protein.
Rebuilding iron and key nutrients.
Reducing inflammation.
Hair recovery became internal work first.
If you’re in a stress shed, you’re not alone!
To be continued…
Can you relate? 🤍
Every other day I’m like:
“I’m getting off social media. This isn’t healthy.”
And then…
“I should probably relaunch my online business.”
Same brain. Same woman. Same coffee. ☕️
Some days I crave quiet, depth, real life.
Other days I remember why I started sharing wellness in the first place -because it actually helped me and I know it can help other women too.
I don’t think it’s inconsistency.
I think it’s discernment in progress.
So if you see me go quiet… then show up again talking about hair, skin, health, hormones, or ingredients, just know I’m figuring it out in real time too.
No hard pivot yet.
Just honest movement forward.
If you’re in a similar “do I opt out or lean in?” season — you’re not alone 🤍

Not everything has to be rushed.
Not every meal has to be perfect.
Just real food, real moments, real nourishment. 🥗

They say habits take 21 days… or 66… or whatever Google says.
I think they take a decision you keep choosing again and again.
Today’s choice: devotional in the car while my daughter is in dance class, and doing this for me.
Habits | One Day at a Time
Every year I debate posting this.
Because I wasn’t an alcoholic.
Because nothing “bad enough” happened.
Because opting out of something so normalized makes people uncomfortable.
But every single year, someone reaches out.
A mom.
A woman questioning her habits.
Someone quietly wondering if alcohol really needs to be part of everything.
And if sharing this helps even one person feel less alone in their thoughts then
I’ll keep sharing it.
Again and again.
You don’t need a dramatic reason to make a different choice.
Sometimes you just decide what you want your kids to see…
and what kind of culture you want to lead instead.
📌 This isn’t about addiction or judgment.
Just a personal choice to not normalize drinking as part of everyday life especially in front of my kids. Sharing in case it resonates 🤍
