How to take care of VIVID hair 💙💚

1: Wait at least 3 days to wash your hair or the color will fade/wash out pretty fast.

2: Use a color protectant SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER - wash it less frequently to keep the color vivid - everyday washing strips your hair of its natural oils.

3: Avoid High Temperatures - try to opt for cool or lukewarm showers as hot water can damage and fade color-treated hair. This also stands true for heat-styling tools such as curling irons, hair straighteners, and blow dryers

4: Avoid Chlorine On Color-Treated Hair - the chlorine in swimming pools can discolor your hair and weaken it!

Imagine this, you wake up with only enough time to do ONE of these to be ready for the day. Which are you choosing?

✨ 3 Healthy Hair Habits to start in the New Year! ✨

We all want to start the New Year as our best selves and then somewhere around the middle of February we fall off. The key to keeping those habits? Make them easy to repeat!

Start doing these 3 things today and you’ll build lasting healthy hair habits.

Use a Wide Tooth Comb! Instead of a brush to detangle your hair, reach for a comb. This will keep your hair from stretching and breaking and will keep you from fighting static.

Do a weekly Intensive Conditioner mask! Keeping your hair and scalp properly nourished and moisturized will add in manageability, color retention and styling ease.

Switch out or to a Satin or Silk pillowcase. The smooth texture of the pillow case will keep your hair from getting frizzy, it will help your style last and prevents those fun face creases. Be sure to wash your pillow case weekly and replace it at least twice a year.

If you can do just these 3 things, you’re going to have a happier and healthier relationship with your hair.
