here are my CURRENT SKINCARE FAVS!!!! let’s jump right in:
𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍: yes girl! we should be using spf even if there is no sun. why? clouds do NOT block all of the suns harmful UV rays that can lead to premature aging! UVB rays are the cause of sunburns, but UVA rays are responsible for skin aging and can even pe*****te windows! (yes, indoor and car windows) additionally, if you are using active ingredients in your skincare, they can make you more sensitive to the sun, and without that protective barrier (SPF) it prevents skin irritation, hyperpigmentation, and sunburns. make it a part of your morning habits:)
𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐋 (𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐀): i love retinol, especially in the winter time! speeding up cell turnover while boosting collagen production will reduce signs of aging, improve skin tone, unclogs pores, and will give you that nice refreshed smooth skin:) make sure to use sunscreen in the morning and moisturize!
𝐇𝐘𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐃: one of my favorites! hyaluronic acid is so amazing at hydrating and attracting water to the skin and locking in that moisture, to give you that plump, glowy look to your face. so amazing for the skin barrier!
𝐇𝐘𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒: boosting extra moisture = glow✨ toners rebalance the ph in skin and prepare it for the rest of you skincare routine while improving product absorption
𝐀 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐌𝐎𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐑/𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌: a rich cream in winter months or night time locks in hydration and your other skincare products to give you the best results the following day :)
