Announcing the open application window for our Naturals in Troy Scholarship!

January 25th thru March 31st.

(The show ended in 2024 but our scholarship is still up and running! This will be our 4th year giving back!)

Our 2024 Naturals in Troy Natural Hair and Health Show was nothing short of amazing!!

Each presenter. Each sponsor. Each team member. Each and every attendee - physically and mentally - you ARE appreciated.

We had a very good run! Thank you EVERYONE for making 2016-2024 memorable for Naturals in Troy!

Our final natural hair and health show ended on June 29, 2024.

As you can tell from the photo below... it's safe to say the smiles were present because a time was had!

Everyone who played a role in the success of the event, I appreciate you!

June 29, 2024 , we ended our natural hair show. We are thankful to the community of Troy, Alabama and surrounding cities for supporting eight (8) shows between 2016 and 2024. We took off due to covid and time-off when we did not host.

We are extremely thankful for our show sponsors - Black Voters Matter, Troy United Women's League and Afam Concept as the product sponsor.

Our venue for the last two shows has been J. Michelle's Event Center. What a beautiful one stop shop for all of your event needs!

Our last show - Naturals in Troy Natural Hair and Health Show featured guest trichologist Precious Rutlin, guest stylist Jasmine Carson and holistic wellness professionals Sharon Portis and Phoenix Wofford.

Our wonderful emcee Aretha Dix graced us with style and perfection of keeping the flow of this show and the last four (4) shows.

The community was informed of the purpose and mission of the John R. Lewis Legacy Institute, communicated by Executive Director Jerrick Lewis and Board Member Ron Lewis.

Elite Guests enjoyed food prepared by Puttin's Catering (has been thr show caterer for the last 4 shows) and desserts by Ms. Yvette (provided desserts for the last 2 shows).

We enjoyed a live performance by southern soul singer Japvon from ATL and took in shopping opportunities by our vendors.

The love shown on this day was overwhelming! I am full, happy and pleasant with the success and impact of Naturals in Troy!
