I am deeply saddened to say that our beloved barber, Tommy, passed away last night. At 87 years old, he was still doing what he loved. Tommy was such a kind, sweet man with a young heart and a work ethic that never slowed down. Tommy was a barber in Bridgeport and Trumbull for 67 years

We will miss how he’d walk in with a a huge smile saying “hello girls” and his Dunkin’ Donuts coffee cup, and by the end of the day it would somehow be filled with ice water and left somewhere around the salon for us to find. He always kept us laughing with his jokes, and we’ll never forget yelling, “Tommy, get your phone!” whenever his loud cell phone rang—the one he could never hear. And of course, no one will forget his vacuum that managed to scare everyone.

Tommy loved to travel, work in his yard, and spend time with his dog and family. Most of all, he loved what he did and the people around him. He brought warmth, laughter, and life into the salon every day. We will forever miss that smile and the endless jokes that kept us all in good spirits.

Tommy, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, and the example of what it means to love your work and live life fully.
