I’ve come to realize that I’m naturally an introvert, and for a long time I thought I had to change that. I don’t anymore.

I’ve always been incredibly independent. If I’m struggling with something, my first instinct is to figure it out on my own. Asking for help or leaning on other people hasn’t always come naturally to me. It’s something I’m still learning.

I’m a private person. I don’t open up easily, not because I don’t care, but because I’ve always felt more comfortable carrying my own burdens than placing them on someone else.

Social situations can be exhausting. I genuinely enjoy spending time with people I love, but after a while, I’m ready to go home, get comfortable, and recharge in my own space.

I don’t need a large circle. I’d rather have a few deep, genuine relationships built on trust than countless surface-level connections.

I’m not the loudest person in the room. I listen more than I speak. I think carefully before I respond. And if I’m being honest, I express myself much better through writing than I ever do in conversation.

Small talk doesn’t do much for me. I crave conversations with depth, honesty, purpose, and meaning.

My mind is always creating, dreaming, learning, planning, and reflecting. Solitude has never felt empty to me it’s where I find peace, clarity, and where I feel closest to God.

People have spent years telling me to “come out of my shell.” But maybe I’m not hiding at all.

Maybe this is simply who God created me to be.

Quiet.
Thoughtful.
Observant.
Deeply feeling.
