Throughout February, we are raising funds for local Tucson mutual aid groups supporting families affected by recent immigration actions.

No pressure. No expectation.
Just community taking care of community.

At Craft Collective, our space has always been about more than hair. It’s about care, safety, and community. We want to be clear about where we stand.

Our salon is and will always be a safe space. We stand in solidarity with immigrants, refugees, q***r and trans people, and anyone impacted by systems that criminalize existence and separate families. We believe people deserve dignity, bodily autonomy, and safety regardless of citizenship status. We do not support policies or institutions that harm, cage, or terrorize communities under the guise of law and order. If you believe in compassion, accountability, and humanity, you belong here.

In years past, we’ve marked Valentine’s Day with our annual bazaar celebrating local businesses and self care. This year, we’re choosing a different path. Given what’s happening in our country and in our own backyard, we’re redirecting our time and energy toward supporting mutual aid groups here in Tucson who are doing direct, life sustaining work for people harmed by current immigration policies and enforcement.

Love is not just something we celebrate. It’s something we practice through action, protection, and care for one another.

We’ll be sharing more soon about how our community can get involved and contribute. If you have local mutual aid organizations you trust and recommend, we welcome those suggestions.

Success is right! Y’all, we’ve already overfilled our first donation box and on to our second!!! Let’s keep it going!!! Our first winners will be drawn this weekend so keep your eyes peeled to see if you could be a lucky few! We will be collecting all the way through the end of the year! The recent government shutdown and proposed cuts to SNAP benefits have left many families facing extra uncertainty this season. At Craft Collective, we believe community care matters most when times get tough, and we have been so inspired by our community and friends at , so we’re turning compassion into action.

We’re hosting a Holiday Food Drive to support local families in need.
Here’s how it works:

Bring in:
• 3 non-perishable food items or
• a preloaded grocery store gift card (any amount)

…and you’ll be entered to win a variety of amazing gifts from Craft Collective, including R+Co product sets and $100 towards services with your stylist.

Our first prize drawing will take place in two weeks, but the food drive will continue through the holidays so we can keep giving back together.

All donations will go directly to local food banks supporting Tucson families.

Let’s fill those bins, lift each other up, and make this season about generosity and care, one can, one card, one act of kindness at a time.
