Hello again! I just wanted to take a minute and thank you all for your overwhelming response to the news of Best Lil’ Hair House in Tucson’s reopening. Appointments that were already on the books, for May, are not being rescheduled. It would be too difficult to try and reschedule all of them AND those of you who missed appointments. I did add an additional work day to my schedule and it too, is already full. I’m doing the best I can to accommodate everyone and appreciate your patience and understanding. Dear Friends,

I’m relieved to finally be reaching out with some good news. The governor announced today that we can reopen on Friday, May 8. There are going to be strict guidelines under which we’ll be permitted to operate. No more than one person will be allowed in the salon at a time. I will be wearing a mask and ask that you please provide your own, as I have not been able to obtain enough for everyone. (It doesn’t have to be anything fancy! A bandana or scarf will do!) I will also be required to allow time in between appointments, to clean and sanitize the salon. I will do so as quickly as I can and will try my best to stay on time, while accommodating as many of you as possible. This is going to be a big adjustment for us all. Thank you for hanging tough with me. If you already have an appointment scheduled from May 8 on, that appointment date and time will not change. If you had an appointment in April that I missed, when rescheduling, please let me know.

Dear Friends,

I am both saddened and relieved to be sending you this message. I miss you all and doing the work I love but remain conflicted about reopening. Today the governor announced that the stay at home order will be extended through May 15th. Although certain retail businesses will be permitted to open, starting Monday, salons are not amongst those. There is no projected date to reopen salons, as of yet. I’ve decided not to begin rescheduling appointments until we have firm dates on reopening. Once I know more, I will send you an update and begin rescheduling. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you sticking with me through all this!
