I'm reposting this message from Kendra so you know that almost everyone has found a new salon home (Kendra is still deciding where she wants to go and Kara is still deciding exactly what she wants to do but she will be doing massage and braiding from Karen's home, we're setting this up right now). I've edited this a little to make it shorter.

We closed the doors for one last time at Salon De Futur. Thanks to all of you, we had over 14 years of a wonderful business.

Esperanza Madrid will be starting her new venture with Beliz salon (in the Buffalo wild wings parking lot on Irvington and i-19) and she can be reached for appointments at 5208695506.

Arlene has found her new home at Extreme Hair and nails on 12th Ave across from Pueblo high school. She can be reached for appointments at 5202043665.

Kara Dinius will be spending some time at the barber school and also has a massage room set up to take care of all of you. She can be reached at 5206314051.

You can reach Kendra at 5204817010. I will be posting my new hair home within the week when I get everything squared away. She will keep the salon phone number on and continue answering and forwarding calls to their stylists. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or Kara, we will all still be here to take care of your needs. I'll be working again by next week.

This also means we will be selling stuff. Products are 50% off. We will need to sell the red couch, the chairs, display cases, etc. Please let us know if you are interested in any of our stuff. We haven't sat down to put prices on things but plan to do that on the 1st.

The salon is closing its doors and we are very sad.

This is very hard breaking for me to write. Bottom line, the last 6 months have been very hard for us. We knew we were taking a big risk by moving the salon. We knew we would lose some business but we really didn’t know how much moving would impact us.

We will be open, today & tomorrow, closed on the 1st, and then open again on the 2nd and 3rd. The 3rd will be our last day. The good news is that the girls will continue doing hair, they will be in a shop somewhere in Tucson. I will post their new locations as soon as I get that information from them.

I want to thank all of you for your business over the years. Some phone numbers have not been updated so please leave a message with your phone number and I will make sure your stylist gets your number.

Always remember, when one door closes another one opens. As hard as this is, we are all trying to look at it as an opportunity for a new beginning.

Now that my birthday is over... Kendra's birthday is coming up on the 15th. You know what that means right? It means I'm going to dig through the old pictures to see what I put up without Kendra killing me. Stay tuned. Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone.

We are very thankful for our family and friends, have a safe holiday. We're only closed on Thursday, otherwise come on in, there are still some appointments available..

To all of our women friends that have been or are in the military, Happy Veteran's Day. To all the women that stay at home and wait for their husbands, sons and other family members, thank you for your sacrifice. (Ladies, you are truly unsung heroes, waiting is hard)
