Most people believe that a color correction is only needed to “fix” a botched color service. Even though this is the case with this particular color correction, there are other instances in which a color correction would be required to achieve your desired result:
◾️You have box color in your hair and want to be significantly lighter. (NOTE: even though the color has faded out the effects of box color do not go away until the hair has grown out and cut off).
◾️You have previous highlights and are transitioning into an all over blonde look.
◾️You need a lightener retouch and have more than 6 weeks of regrowth.
◾️You have banding or uneven color that you need evened out while still going lighter
