Mini move-ups, bump-ups, whatever you want to call them, they are a hard NO.

Taking a bead, opening and sliding it up creates an unbalanced install. Whenever you’re positioning your beads, there’s a reason for their shape and placement and you aren’t able to see what that truly looks like if you’re just sliding beads up with the wefts still on.

Everything needs to be completely removed, washed and reinstalled on fresh partings and placement. This is key for maintaining your hair integrity.

This project has truly been a passion project of mine from the beginning. I knew the moment that I was going down the avenue of being independent I knew I wanted to document it and create a resource for stylist, looking to go independent because there was no guide, and there was no blueprint.
