Getting better at mullets. Who woulda thought they’d come back.

Every three weeks for almost two years my brother has been supporting me through my journey as a cosmetologist. My first barbering model, my first loyal client, my first critic who does so with such grace and humility. He doesn’t get mad or angry he’s always found the kindest way to express to me how to cut his hair better next time. He knows how hard I am on myself. He knows every day i wanted to quit being a cosmetologist because someone yelled at me. He always finds a way to encourage me to keep going, continue pushing, to continue chasing my dream. Without him I wouldn’t be this good at barbering, I wouldn’t have found out how much I LOVE men’s cuts. We’ve come a long way and I can’t wait to see where we are in 5 years.

Curly cut on my girl!

Fun little project on mannequin

start with 4 different colors
goal end with the same color all over.
Everything but the blonde quadrant did what it was supposed too. Pre filled the blonde twice but still didn’t take as dark as the others.

Saturday I’ll add Low lights to add dimension

Kids cuts are in my top 5 favorite things as a cosmetologist.

This was her first haircut ever and we Took off about 2 inches! She did so good from the wash to the cut!

We cut about 5’ off, did lots of layering and removing weight. My girl was so happy with her results and felt so much lighter at the end!
