How Does A Chemical Peel Work?

A chemical peel uses a solution to smooth the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers to reveal younger, more even looking skin underneath. Although chemical peels are used mostly on the face, they can also be used to improve the skin on the hands and neck.

A chemical peel can help improve:
• Acne scars
• Age and liver spots
• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Freckles
• Irregular skin pigmentation
• Rough skin and scaly patches
• Sun-damaged skin

It’s also important to note that a chemical peel will not:
• Treat deep facial lines
• Tighten lose or sagging skin
• Remove broken capillaries
• Change pore size
• Remove deep scars

The Illuminize peel is appropriate for resolving minor skin imperfections and can brighten the overall appearance of skin and give patients a more uniform complexion. Many patients notice radiant looking skin after one peel. There is no expected downtime with the Illuminize peel and the skin is treated with gentle ingredients including salicylic acid, mandelic acid, resorcinol, malic acid, panthenol and Quillaja Saponaria bark extract.
$100 per peel or $250 for a series of 3.

The Vitalize peel can smooth the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and roughness. Results are generally noticeable after just one peel and are compelling after a series of three to six peels. Peels can be applied every three to four weeks, allowing you to achieve maximum results in just a few months. Ingredients including salicyclic acid, resorcinol, lactic acid and panthenol smooth the skin during treatment. $140 per peel or $350 for a series of 3.
