Had an absolutely awesome day at today in Scottsdale! Met some great people, reconnected with others and am going to try out some fabulous products! Thanks to all the companies that were there today!

Sad News....

Last Friday, February 18th, 10:10pm, my Mom left this earth to be with my grandparents and her brothers. Cord and I were there with her at Casa De La Luz Hospice when she passed, which I am so grateful for. She passed peacefully with a final smile on her face as she took her last breath.

I will be back to work on Tuesday. I have to keep busy and one of my favorite things is spending time with all of you. I will, however, be taking time off here and there for getting her affairs in order. I ask for your patience and understanding if I need to reschedule your appointment as I will probably not have much control over when somethings need to be done.

I'm also asking for patience if I get weepy and cry during our appts. I try to control it (because I'm a control freak...haha) but my heart doesn't always listen to me.

I just want you to know that I appreciate all of you.

Dear Perfectly Polished Nails & Skincare community,

Hello Everyone!!!

I am thrilled to announce that I have tested negative for Covid!!! I am in the process of getting your appts rescheduled. If you have a standing appt and would be ok with just waiting until your next scheduled appt, please let me know! I have limited space and it would definitely help me out.

I am so appreciative to all of you for supporting me this past week thru your kind messages. You definitely helped me keep my spirits up while I was sequestered in a bedroom all by myself!

Just a gentle reminder, please, if you are sick, reschedule your appt. I believe none of us really want to go through this ever again! If you are sick, please get tested.....and if you're not vaccinated, please consider doing so to protect yourself and others.

We have some updates

Dear Perfectly Polished Nails & Skincare community,

I hope this email finds you all well!

I am currently sequestered in the back bedroom of our house due to a client coming in after being sick, being tested for Covid and not getting the results back before she came in to see me. So, when she called me the next day letting me know that she tested positive, I had to make the decision to protect all of you by closing my doors until I test negative 2 times. I will be testing on Friday and again on Monday. I have no symptoms, am vaccinated and boostered and am not worried for myself but am worried about passing anything along to Pete. As you all know, he has Congestive Heart Failure which is managed by medication and is vaccinated and boostered but it still puts him at an extremely high risk, a risk that I have tried hard to mitigate for 2 years.

You all know that for the past 2 years, I have been neurotic about cleaning and trying to keep you all safe when you come in to see me. I consider my office a safe respite to all of the awful things happening out in the world. Having to close my doors because of a possible Covid exposure has shattered me.... I am so sorry that you all have to miss your appts but I hope you know that your health and safety is the most important thing to me. I had to cancel 25 appointments total over the next 6 days....

Going forward, I will be sending out an email before every appointment that will need to be signed and sent back to me....it is a series of questions about testing and symptoms and Covid exposure. If it is not signed and sent back, your appt will be cancelled. Please make sure I have a valid email for you.

It is my policy that if you are sick, no matter if it is Covid or not, that you reschedule your appointment. It is on every piece of correspondence that I send. Now, when you confirm your appt, it is an acknowledgement that you accept the policies that are on the confirmation. That means if you come in sick, I will send you home and you will be charged for the appt.

I want you to know that I appreciate all of you that have been my awesome clients, who respect my time and my business....you are the reason I come to work every day. Thank you so much for your loyalty and your friendship.

Masks will continue to be mandatory. If you are feeling any symptoms of a cold, flu or sinus infection...please cancel and reschedule your visit. Also, if you believe you have been in contact with anyone who may have Covid, I ask that you reschedule. I respectfully ask that you take as much care to help protect me and my family as I do to protect yours. If you haven't gotten your vaccination, please do it...I've already lost a good friend to Covid due to being non vaccinated....I don't want to lose any more.
