I’ve been working so hard on my mental health this year. Who would have known that it’d effect so many different areas of my life! You’re probably thinking well duh Bre!? But seasons that feel like a lifetime catch you by surprise when suddenly you look back and they’re gone! There’s something about seeing the reward after all the work you put in. Thoughts like, “wow I’m over that” “I grew out of that habit” “I made it” “I’m still here” can only point to God. In reflection, I can confidently say that He has a plan and days that unfold ahead, are truly gifts of the future He has promised since the beginning of time. Your hard work pays off. Hear me out though, putting priorities in order is not a simple task, especially for me. I battle anxiety and certain days I get stuck in my head. Becoming robbed of the simple joys of my last baby step forward or missing out on the opportunity to push through discomfort and grow, happens more often than I’d like to admit. But I say this to let you know if you’re struggling in life to push through personal development and mature beyond what you “can handle” you’re not alone. I just turned 25, I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2016 and barely call myself a proud Beauty Entrepreneur. As I sit in this room and write this novel 🤪 I’m so grateful for my parents that support me, my clients that return to me, the salon owner that believes in me, my friends that carry me, and God that never changed His mind about me when I changed my mind about Him. Be encouraged and know you’re not alone! Don’t isolate yourself, find good people to push you to the next level and invest in them! Those people are priceless, just like you. With all that said, thank you for taking time to read if you got this far! I gotta get back to putting this room together!🤪 or should I say my room thanks to Esther! Xo -Bree
