-Kevin Perrigan pushing me to my limits multiple times on the Appalachian Trail and climbing two “14’ers” in the Rockie Mountains.
-Bill Adams of SFOI for years ago stressing the importance of being healthy as an effective evangelist.
-Rocky Sickel for keeping me from dying 6yrs ago hiking the AT in the sweltering August heat, along with Jeff Vanlandingham and his kindness during that time.
-Brent Tracey and his gym Cell Block who is a wealth of knowledge and so hospitable to me Whitney and all the kids.
-Todd Altaffer who allowed me to sporadically train with him many times off and on throughout the years, with zero judgment.
-Prof. Jon Haskew who started me on the Jiu-Jitsu journey, encouraging me along the way even when I couldn’t move or breathe.
-Coach Jake Reckner at Blue Ridge American Jiu-Jitsu who has continued to instruct and push me.
-Mom who always builds me up and notices the small things.
-Dad who would harp on me, encourage me and show me what work ethic, physicality and strength looked like. He would take me along to his gym as a little boy, take me on morning runs as a teenager and taught me how to lift weights.
-Grace Community Church who has given us a home to heal, grow and serve.

May my health allow me to love, lead, protect and provide for my wife and children better. May it set an example to my family and give me more years with them. May it give me a better witness to a watching world. And more stamina and energy to serve King Jesus with intensity.
