💁‍♀️🔥 Protect Your Locks: 3 Tips to Prevent Heat Damage 🔥💇‍♀️

1️⃣ Use a Heat Protectant: Before styling with hot tools, 🙌🏼 always 🙌🏼apply a heat protectant spray, serum or oil. It creates a barrier to shield your hair from extreme temperatures. I love the Pravana leave in, and K-18 oils for this, especially 🤌🏻 DID YOU KNOW - If you feel a “cold spot” in your hair after blow drying, that’s actually wet hair that needs to be dry before heat styling??

2️⃣ Adjust Heat Settings: Opt for lower heat settings on your styling tools. High heat isn’t necessary if you do t have course and/or curly hair. 350 or less for extensions. 300 or less for thin or blonde hair. ✨ FUN FACT ✨ Did you know too high of heat can actually discolor chemically lightened blonde hair? 😳

3️⃣ Limit Heat Exposure: Try to minimize how often you use heat styling tools. Embrace natural hairstyles, like twisted buns & braids to give your hair a break. Your locks will thank you! 💆‍♀️✨

When I say “low maintenance”, I mean it! This is an 8 month growout refresh, that will look beautiful for 3-4 months with zero maintenance! The techniques and placement I use don’t just look good for 2-4 weeks, but for MONTHS 🙌🏼 It’s not just about saving 💰, but helping you have more time for other things that are important for you. 🤍
