Well… week ONE of demolition is officially in the books, and we have to give a HUGE shout-out to the crew working on the Chick-fil-A expansion next door. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

When we first heard demolition, we prepared ourselves for the possibility of a little chaos. Heavy equipment + concrete + a spa full of people trying to relax seemed like it could be an interesting combination. 😂

But we have been thoroughly impressed.

What could have sounded like complete destruction has somehow been more like a soft, distant thunder inside Bella Vita. And oddly enough? It’s almost tranquil. 😂 Guests are still relaxing. Massages are still peaceful. Facials are still dreamy. And Bella Vita is carrying on just like always.

We also have to give a HUGE thank-you to our incredible staff and guests. Everyone has been so encouraging, patient and positive about the changes happening around us. Not only are we making it through just fine — we’re genuinely excited to watch the progress! 🙌🏻

The new Chick-fil-A pull-through parking and ordering area is going to be such a welcome improvement, especially if it helps alleviate some of that Memorial traffic we all know and love. 😜

And speaking of loving our neighbors… we wandered over to HTeaO and discovered they have Happy Hour every day from 2–4 PM! Today we hit the jackpot because Cousins Maine Lobster was there too, and let’s just say a few Bella Vita staff members took FULL advantage. 🦞😂

Construction next door, lobster rolls across the way, half-price tea nearby, and a whole lot of people making the best of it.
