I always say, even if your hair is your DREAM color… it’ll look like sh*t if it’s fried. I’d rather you have healthy hair, even if you’re not at your goal color yet. That can always be broken down into multiple sessions. BUUUT if it’s fried then.. well it’s fried! Which makes it impossible to go back. I’m so grateful for clients who are patient and understanding 💕

Clients tend to have more anxiety because they’re not in the hair salon every single day. We as professionals are! It’s good to remember just because it’s the norm for you, doesn’t mean it is for your clients…

And clients need to understand we don’t hate you because we aren’t talking! Our mind is often elsewhere 😂

Doing highlights on naturally light vs dark hair gives a completely different effect.

For dark hair, it gives a higher contrast look next to the blonde pieces.

For light hair, it looks a lot softer!

When choosing inspiration photos, be sure to look for pics that are close to your base color 👌🏻
