Most people think hairdressers suggest good shampoo to make extra money off their clients. However, THIS is proof how bad build up can get on the hair!

I was lightening a woman’s hair yesterday and noticed how resistant it was to lighten, and this I realized why. What u see at the bottom of this processing cap is buildup literally melting off the hair! The ingredients in certain shampoos are basically coating your hair with plastic. It may feel “silky smooth” at first, but after a while you get so much buildup your hair dies from the inside out, because it can’t get any moisture through the layer of coating.

Makes you think twice before grabbing that Pantene off the shelf next time 😉

Side note: everyone wondering what’s a good shampoo; your main focus is to look for products without silicone, sulfates, or parabens.

This is my beautiful best friend since elementary school. We lost her totally unexpectedly! There’s no way a family could be prepared for something like this. This year has been hell for all of us, even the smallest amount helps. I appreciate all of my amazing friends here. Hello my beauties! Sorry I haven’t been on here in a while. I hope everyone is staying safe and well, in these crazy times. I so hope we get some point of normalcy again one day. 😕
So most of you know the salon is open. We have to follow certain state board regulated and salon chosen guidelines to keep everyone safe.
*masks are no longer required for clients, salon staff will continue to wear masks for now.
*We ask that you do not bring anyone with you to your appointments, as we need to keep only a certain number of people in the salon at a time.
*when you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your car, send me a text, wait for a response. If I don it respond immediately, I am still with a client. We are keeping the doors locked as we are not taking walk-ins. So please wait for a text back before coming to the door. I know sometimes people worry if we received the text and come to the door for fear we are waiting on you. If I am ready to start your appt, and I haven’t heard from you (or text didn’t go through for some reason) I will text you.
*when I meet you at the door, we will do a quick temp check and then begin your appt 😁
