Happy Spring Time!

Hello darlings & happy April!!

A lot of you may know that my lease is coming to an end! My beautiful friend Alex is an amazingly talented nail artist & she will be sharing our space. She starts moving in this month! I’ll link her instagram so you guys can check her out!

That brings me to the big news! I will be at Honey Beauty Studio coming the end of May. Some of you may be familiar with Honey, they are one of favorite places to refer you when i’m unavailable. I absolutely idolize Kelsey, she’s the owner & she has created such a beautiful space. Honey Beauty Studio is located on 4th Ave, downtown Olympia. So just a few blocks down from where we currently are.

When i make the move to honey, unfortunately i won’t be offering dermaplaning. However, i will still be offering all things brows & lash lifts! So, if you have any package treatments please reach out to me so i can honor your appointments, i want to find a time for you to come in. If you have balances on any gift cards, you have until the end of May to redeem them. I will be opening my books to more appointment times as I coordinate with Alex as she moves in. I am more than happy to refer you for any skin specialists & dermaplaning providers in the area. There’s amazing businesses i’m happy to refer you to.
I want to thank each & every one of you for always supporting me, especially this past year. I’m so excited for this new chapter & opportunity. These past two and a half years in our little home have been life changing & I couldn’t thank you enough. Also, Cristina & Jenn who i share the space with have been the best, I couldn’t ask for better ladies to be around!

Happy February Darlings!

A few updates:

First, unfortunately my loyalty program is coming to an end. I will still honor all of your points that are current & saved. You can use them however you like but you cannot earn them moving forward. The subscription price for the loyalty program has raised, and the amount of visits I have a month do not compensate evenly.

I will be doing monthly promos and I will always have birthday/ referral discounts for you guys to make up for it.

Second, I have updated my cancellation policy. I previously had 50% charge of the scheduled service for same day cancellations and 100% charge of scheduled service for no contact/ no show appointments. I was also very lenient with this policy but I’ve decided to change it. Moving forward, cancellation policy is 50% charge of the scheduled service for same day cancellations. All no contact/ no show appointments are charged a 50% non refundable charge of the scheduled service.
This is more forgiving and fair for both parties and I will be enforcing this more. I do not believe in accepting deposits, and I have no way to accept them. Things happen and I understand. If it’s same day cancellations and you reschedule then I will apply 50% to your rescheduled appointment.

Third, I currently have a Valentine Dew Facial treatment (Dermaplaning) for $50.00 and a package of 3 treatments for $150.00
This will be a running promo and I will update you when it’s no longer available.

Big Update at Subtle

Hello Darlings!

& Happy November!
The holidays are in full swing now & it’s my favorite time of year.
However with that being said, I am announcing that I will be lessening my hours.
SO….this will seem very sudden to some of you but for the last year or so I have been handling a lot of personal matters & I've been adjusting my hours at the studio to accommodate myself. As you know, I spend my extra time at Mi Casita Coffee in Lacey. They have recently & almost immediately have gone through some changes to the staff & one of the owners had to step back for personal health reasons. This has left me with the opportunity to help manage Mi Casita Coffee. And that includes being full time over there. The coffee trailer is a small family owned business & they are still brand new.
Their family is very close to my heart & they are truly amazing. I am offering my commitment to them especially during the transition between lessening my hours here at Subtle & increasing them at Mi Casita. & with my own personal matters at home, this aligns really well with what is working for me at this time.

I am honoring every single standing appointment until the end of December so if you currently have upcoming appointments- don’t worry. If you are trying to get in for the holidays & all the events please reach out to me because I will always make something work. If there is a time that cannot work for the both of us, I am absolutely more than happy to refer you guys out. There are so many amazing businesses in the area that I truly admire & some of them have more artists & more appointment times to offer you.
If you have stuck it out this long, then I want to end this update on me saying: I am truly honored & beyond grateful to each & every single one you. You have all made my 2019 dreams come true & Subtle wouldn’t be anything without you guys. So I really want to thank you for ALWAYS being patient with me & being so flexible & so kind in our little home that we built. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Another update: fall & winter hours will be in effect as the night time comes earlier. You know this is for both you & I. Sometimes I’m the last one here in the late hours & I want the walk to your car to be as safe & comfortable as possible. As well as my walk home. I’ll have one designated day for late evening appointments but the rest of the days I will be closing around 5pm.

I have a seasonal facial coming your way & I can’t wait for you guys to experience it!

Happy Summer darlings!

A few new things I wanted to announce:

First, the building for our side got a key pad! So, with this system you guys will be able to enter as soon as you arrive. I'll send out the code to everyone who has an appointment the day of. You will no longer need to text me to let you inside.
However, this won't apply to my night owl clients, just for safety and security, please text me when you arrive after 5pm and I will continue to meet you at the door.

Secondly, I had mentioned my schedule changing last month and this will be in effect from here on out.
Due to personal matters, the studio will be open Monday-Wednesday with varying hours of 10am-7pm. Everyone who is currently booked, your appointment will remain. In addition, I will be accepting clients on the other days on case by case basis.

Third and final point, tomorrow is the grand opening of a coffee truck in Lacey called Mi Casita Coffee
We will be collaborating! So, stop by for a visit and share a picture tagging both businesses on Instagram and for a chance to win a free service of your choice! I'll announce a winner at the end of this week
