I’ve been quiet about this but after 9 months and 1,000 clock hrs I can officially announce that I GRADUATED tonight in Esthetics. This journey has not been easy. I’ve had to sacrifice a lot, from cutting my work schedule, driving back and forth to Birmingham to attend class at night, to missing out on time with my son. It’s taken long nights and early mornings of dedication BUT I can say that it was well worth it. I wanted to go back to school for Esthetics several years ago but the timing just wasn’t right. I can say that God’s timing is everything. I had no clue as to how I was going to do it, but I took a leap of faith and it was the best decision I could’ve made. God placed the right people in my life at the perfect time. My support system has been amazing. I couldn’t have done any of this without each one of them and I’m forever indebted. I’m beyond grateful. I want to thank my amazing clients for being so patient and understanding. To my amazing instructors & classmates turned sisters, the bonds and friendships we’ve created are ones I’ll cherish forever!! I love you ladies!
I’m excited for this next chapter of my life! Next on the agenda is passing my State Boards! I know God has a plan much greater for me so I’m claiming..PASSED 🙏🏾🙌🏾

💎💎⬇️ Tips for different skin types ⬇️💎💎
Proper skin prep is key for ALL skin types‼️
💭: Your skin prep and base will determine your makeup application and your end results.
💭: Always moisturize Oily skin! A lot of people are afraid to moisturize if their skin is oily, but Oil and Moisture are two different things. You still need to moisturize.
💭: If your client has dry skin, you want to lean more towards creamier products instead of powders.
💭: If your skin is prone to acne, heavier products aren’t the best choice for you.
💭: Your skin changes as the seasons change. Always communicate with your clients to determine if there’s been any changes to their skin so you can alter the skin prep to fit their needs.
💭: Textured skin is completely normal! Learn what products work best with anyone who has textured skin. Too much highlighter will accentuate the texture. Fun Fact: I’m a textured girly 🤗 (it’s perfectly okay)
