The Power To Be
Thankful
God’s words echo throughout my heart and soul. He has guided me these many life years. Sometimes I hear His call and follow. The times I struggle, I know His message is not being heard. It is so easy to hear and not listen. I thank God for all His patience with me. I know His love is great. What am I truly thankful for this special day?
If I could, I would hug and kiss family now gone from this earth. We miss them dearly. To see their smiles and hear their laughter, how thankful I would be.
God gave me this precious day to enjoy. To see the deep blue sky. To feel the warmth of the bright sun. To hear the sweet songs of nature carried on angelic wings. How softly the wind blows to bring peace to my soul. Even in the darkness of the night sky, I see the majesty God has made to allow me these special gifts so free.
Dearest loved ones I say, no matter where we are today, I feel your love all around. I to share my heart felt love, tears and hopes to all. So now I bow my head and bend my knee to humbly thank our God for each of thee. Have a loving, blessed Thanksgiving.
