As a small business, I will remain open this Friday in order to support my small business and as to not punish my loyal clients who have booked their appts weeks in advance!

But… as my little way to try and make some difference, I will be donating 30% of my proceeds on 1/30/26 to the Orange County Rapid Response Network who are supporting families all over Orange County!

If you’re unable to participate in the general strike because missing work is not an option… try to avoid shopping or ordering online, shop small from local businesses and Keep calling your senators, Spreading the message and Standing together!

If you think one person can’t make a difference, you’re wrong, be the good you want to see in the world. Resistance is patriotic!

🩷 October is breast cancer awareness month 🩷

One of my amazing clients came in wearing this shirt yesterday! So proud of this woman and her survival story! I can’t tell you how many clients, I’ve worked with over the years who have had to have either a lumpectomy, single or double mastectomies! It’s a shame that the number of clients keeps growing every year. It is an honor to be someone who women can come to and talk to about their journeys with breast cancer, and nothing makes me happier than when I hear them come in once their treatment is complete and say “I AM CANCER FREE!”

EARLY DETECTION IS KEY!!!! Ladies, please be sure to do your self exams and if you’re over 40 get your yearly mammograms! I just did mine 2 weeks ago with the newer 3d technology and the tech was nice enough to show me the images and explain what we were looking at! It was SOOO interesting to see 2d and 3d images of my tatas, and have her explain what dense tissue and potential masses may look like in the different types of imaging!

🎉🎉🎉 Yesterday, 7/9/2024 marked 6 years since the doors at .wax.parlor
OPENED! Never in a million years had I wished for or thought l’d ever own my own business or be self-employed! But life circumstances and poor work environments at previous employers kind of gave my the unexpected shove I needed to pave my own path and go into business for myself!
It hasn’t always been easy... and the hours are endless sometimes, but it’s truly been the most rewarding experience of my life!
I can honestly say that I’m pretty frikken proud of myself! So thank you to everyone who has helped along the way, from family/ friends who supported my journey, to every client, past and present! and looking forward to a future of expanding and hiring new employees! Cheers to 6 wonderful years and a whole lot of hustling!

vacation mode… ACTIVATED! After a very crazy and stressful start to the year, I am Looking forward to a much needed vacation! Finally taking my mom on a vacation i’d promised her 8 years ago! 🚢
