Anyone who tells you that your prices are too high is telling you that they either can’t or won’t afford you - and that’s fine.

They’re not your ideal client and they can go elsewhere. You’re running a business.

When you understand your costs and what you’re actually bringing home and structure your prices accordingly it’s really SO easy to see how dumb it is when people try to say things like you have a big ego or you’re not humble enough and ohhhh the audacity you have for running your business…..like a business.

Life hack - understand that they…. Don’t understand, they didn’t comprehend the business side of it and you don’t owe it to them to explain it -

nor do you need to waste your time doing so, and move on. Leave them in the rearview with everything else that isn’t helping your business absolutely flourish. 🧿✌🏼

Neon Orange Peekaboo & Face Frame 🧡
First time with me, better than we expected

This was actually my first time too doing a true Orange Color and holy hell thank you Chromasilk Vivids for brining this color to life!! Color is in Orange 🍊

We started off lightening with Flashlift and pre toned with Lumishine in 6RRC to make sure we had an even canvas to fill and set for our Neon.

Hairdresser Tip for Vivid Colors :
I truly believe in pre - toning the hair before an initial Vivid Deposit. I’ve had many colorists tell me it’s unnecessary, waste of time and product to do so. But these results continue to prove otherwise. 🌈

How do I pre tone a Vivid?
Pre - Toning can simply be making sure your raw lift has no underlying pigments or unwanted pigments before you apply your Vivid. Think of getting rid of unwanted yellow or orange tones. Or if your lift is super clean and close to level 9/10 start with a tone that’s as close to your vivid.
Example : if you are looking to do a pink try adding in toners that have pink underlying base such as p’s or vp’s. Or if blue is your goal use toners with B or even T’s.

🦋⚡️If someone decides to get ugly with you do what you need to do to protect your peace.

⚡️🦋Stick to your policies if you want but also if you want to refund them for anything just to get rid of them and get them out of your world completely, DO IT. You don’t need permission from anyone to ditch anything toxic in a way that works best for you.

⚡️🦋It was rare but there were a few times I have people full refunds just to get them the f*ck out of my life and I don’t regret it for a single second, it was worth every penny. If that happens to you, use the experience as a way to tighten up your policies or pre-screening procedures.
