Nine years ago, I started as a brand new nail tech with more nerves than confidence and a deep hope that I could turn something I loved into something I could truly build a life around.
Back then, it was less than 4 clients a day, 6 days a week… yet I treated every single set like it was the most important set I’d ever done. Because to me, it was. It still is!
Over time, those numbers became more than just numbers: 28 clients a week or more. Late nights and early mornings, not to mention the squeeze ins.
868 clients a month.
10,416 clients a year to say the least
But what those numbers really really really represent is...trust. Time. Stories. Precious Lives.❤️
It’s the mom who comes in exhausted but finally gets a moment for herself.
The client celebrating milestones—proms, weddings, babies, new jobs, new beginnings.
The ones who sit in my chair during heartbreak and healing.
The laughter that fills the room when life is good, and the quiet understanding when it’s not.
And somehow, in all of that, I’ve also grown.
Still learning. Still watching trends. Still pushing myself to be better. And still, at times, feeling like I’m not “enough” in a world that keeps evolving so fast. But I’ve learned something important in all these years—growth and gratitude can exist at the same time as doubt.
Because I am so deeply blessed by God to do what I do.
To be chosen.
To be trusted with something as personal as someone’s appearance and confidence.
To be part of someone’s hard-earned budget, knowing they worked for that appointment and still chose me.
That is never lost on me.
I’ve grown with my clients. We’ve shared seasons of life together—laughing, crying, rebuilding, celebrating. And in so many ways, they’ve been part of my story just as much as I’ve been part of theirs.
I don’t take that lightly.
After 9 years, I don’t just see nails anymore… I see connection, trust, and a career that became so much more than I ever imagined.
And I’m still grateful every single day that I get to do this.
