Love my late-night seshs. 🌙

I’ve been a little MIA lately, but I promise I haven’t fallen into a bog, joined a cult, or been abducted by aliens. I’ve just been buried in behind-the-scenes projects and trying to keep all my plates spinning without launching one through a window.

That said… can we talk about cat eye polish for a minute?

Because I could wear this stuff until the end of time. Especially when it’s paired with anything celestial. Moons? Yes. Stars? Absolutely. Mushrooms? Always. If it looks like it belongs in a forest at midnight or floating somewhere between dimensions, I’m sold.

These nails are doing that thing where every time you move your hand, they become a completely different set. Like they can’t commit to one personality, and honestly, same.

Multidimensional is the only word I’ve got for these. Cosmic. Moody. Slightly feral. Just the way I like ’em. 🍄✨🌙

✨🌞💛

Today marks two years since I started my little shop and committed to working nights only.

What started as a tiny dream grew faster than I ever expected. Within that first year, I had more than quadrupled my “staff”, moved into a larger location, and poured thousands of dollars, countless hours, and every ounce of energy I had into building something special.

Looking back, I’ve learned some hard lessons.

Not everyone who comes into your life or business has the same intentions you do. Trust is earned, not freely given. Business partnerships, landlords, leases, employees, vendors, trades, and friendships all require more care and due diligence than I once believed. Read your contracts. Know your rights. Don’t take on more than you can realistically manage. And never assume everyone will care for your dream the way you do.

The biggest reason I closed the larger shop wasn’t failure. It was black mold, an unwilling landlord, and the realization that I couldn’t keep carrying problems that weren’t mine to fix. Add in unpaid rents, broken promises, drama, and a few people who taught me exactly who they were, and it became clear it was time to scale back and move forward.

And honestly? I’m happier.

My little suite has brought me peace. Sharing space with trusted people, hosting occasional pop-ups, and focusing on what I truly love has reminded me why I started all of this in the first place.

That doesn’t mean the last two years were bad. Far from it. There were beautiful moments, incredible clients, meaningful friendships, and memories I’ll carry with me forever. Even when people disappointed me, I would have gone to bat for every one of them because that’s who I am.

Next year, I’ll be moving on to a new chapter. Before then, I’ll be training another nail tech to take over for all of the wonderfully weird, spooky, unconventional clients I’ve been lucky enough to know and love.

I’m no longer embarrassed by the setbacks. They taught me exactly what I needed to learn. I’m stronger, smarter, and far more business-savvy than I was two years ago.

So here’s to one final year of Urban Eclipse Society in this area. One more year of spooky magic, late-night appointments, oddities, laughter, and making memories.

To everyone who supported me through the highs, the lows, and everything in between: thank you. There was beauty in every crack, and I’m grateful for all of it.

To celebrate, I’ll be doing a mini giveaway today! Comment, follow, and share this post for a chance to win a few goodies as a thank you for supporting me these last two years.

Let’s make this final year the best one yet. 🖤

Also- Merry Solstice. 🌞✨

Getting some official signage up! Loving how this deep gold looks so far!

Giant shoutout to DSVC Apparel Gifts & More for hooking it up!

Can’t wait for the rest to go up when Beauty by BryyAndyy finishes it tonight! 😍✨👏🏻

(That vinyl had me about to lose my damn mind. So I passed the job before it was too late. 😂)

Couldn’t quite catch these bad boys in their cold-state glory, but they shift from a deep, moody purple to the sweetest soft pink. 💜🩷

Wedding season is in full swing, so we leaned into all the garden-party magic with delicate florals, tiny honey bees, and a dusting of iridescent shimmer that catches the light every time she moves her hands. The perfect mix of soft romance and a little bit of whimsy.

Now I need to prep better for a proper color-change photo. 🐝✨🌸

This set is pure perfection.

Everything about this gel manicure has me absolutely screaming. Moody, spooky, weird, and wonderful. Just the way I like it. 🪲✨

The only way I can describe it is Beetlejuice meets Barbie and somehow they became best friends. Deep magenta cat eye, rich plums, chartreuse accents, iridescent glitter, and the cutest little glitter bugs crawling through it all like they own the place.

And don’t even get me started on the tiny snails hanging out in that dreamy harvest gold. 🐌💛

This set feels like a haunted garden threw on a pink outfit and decided to be fabulous. My life is complete. 💜💚✨🪲

Little PSA ❤️

As things get tighter for a lot of us, I want to remind everyone that there are more ways to pay than just cash.

If you bake, I’ll happily take a few dozen cookies, a loaf of bread, cinnamon rolls, or whatever you’re known for.

If you cook, let’s talk dinners.

If you own a business, I’m always open to trading for products.

If you’re a service provider, let’s swap services.

Got a skill, hobby, handmade item, or something cool you think I’d love? Ask. The worst I can say is no.

I’ve always tried to keep my services accessible to the community that supports me, and I know many of us are feeling the squeeze right now. If Klarna or Afterpay aren’t the right fit, let’s get creative.

Trades have built communities far longer than credit cards have. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask. 🖤

Cream and navy magnetic polish for a mama-to-be who’s about to set sail on her biggest adventure yet. ⚓️

We kept it classy with anchors, stripes, and a little pile of seashells tucked in for good measure. Nautical enough for the baby shower, wearable enough that she won’t be cursing me every time she looks at her hands next week. 😂

I have to admit, these appointments have been hitting a little different lately. Between my upcoming move and some of you packing up for your own adventures, I’m finding myself holding onto these moments a little tighter. Every set tells a story. Every appointment comes with laughs, life updates, and usually at least one completely unhinged conversation.

I’m gonna miss that.

So for now, I’m soaking up every baby shower, every wedding, every promotion, every fresh set of nails, and every chance I get to sit across from you and hear what’s happening in your world.

Now somebody get this woman some tiny sailor-themed baby gifts and a mocktail before I start getting emotional. 💛

I don’t play the hypocritical religious game. I don’t mince words. I stand for the little guy. I protect those who need it and those who don’t know they need it yet. I will always be a voice for kindness in a room full of ugliness.

And here’s the thing: none of us follow any religious text perfectly. There are countless interpretations, countless versions, and people pick and choose what speaks to them every day. That’s human nature. But if your beliefs require cruelty toward others, maybe it’s time to take a harder look at what you’re actually practicing.

Whether you follow Jesus, Buddha, Odin, or no deity at all, I can’t imagine any decent higher power celebrating hate.

Pride Month exists because LGBTQ+ people have endured generations of discrimination, violence, loss, and exclusion. People fought, suffered, and died for rights many now take for granted. Even today, there are places where people can lose their freedoms, their safety, and even their lives simply for loving someone of the same s*x.

I won’t stand quietly while people are treated as less than human.

My space is a safe space. For the LGBTQ+ community. For the people still figuring themselves out. For the people who feel alone. For the people who need somewhere to exist without judgment.

Kindness will always win in my chair. Respect is not optional.

And while we’re celebrating Pride Month, let’s also talk about Men’s Mental Health Month. Too many people are carrying battles nobody sees. Check on your friends. Check on yourself. Ask for help when you need it.

Take care of yourselves. Take care of the g**s. Take care of your neighbors. Take care of everyone in between.

Don’t let hate win.

Book a service with me this month and receive 50% off your next appointment.

EVERYONE is welcome here.

Reveal 3D/4D Mobile Ultrasound ✨💛

✨ BABY PEEKS & PRETTY TOES! ✨

Urban Eclipse Society is teaming up with Molly from Reveal 3D/4D Mobile Ultrasound on June 20th from 11 AM - 3 PM for mini ultrasound sessions!

👶 $50 gets you:
• A 15-minute ultrasound session.
• A printed 3D image of your baby.
• Gender determination as early as 15 weeks.
• A much more affordable option than many local ultrasound studios and mail-in gender tests.

And because pregnancy is hard enough without trying to fold yourself in half to reach your feet…

The Crone's Hand will be offering $15 toe polishes to anyone who books an ultrasound with Molly that day!
After four kids, Holly knows exactly how impossible those toes become once that belly starts growing. 😂

Whether you’re dying to find out if it’s a boy or girl, wanting a sweet peek at your little one, or just looking for an excuse to treat yourself, we’ve got you covered.

📱 Reserve your spot by messaging Molly at 208-731-4168

Walk-ins are welcome too, but appointments are encouraged!

And don’t worry if you can’t make it this month. She’s planning another visit next month. But honestly… who wants to wait that long to see their baby? 😍

We can’t wait to see all you beautiful mamas come through for a peek at those precious little faces!
