Silicones have gotten a pretty bad reputation over the years.

But like most things when it comes to hair, it’s not quite that simple.

Some silicones rinse away easily. Some create a longer-lasting protective barrier. Some evaporate. And some are actually attracted to the more damaged areas of your hair.

And sometimes, that “coating” we’ve been taught to fear is actually exactly what our hair needs.

If your hair is highlighted, chemically treated, porous, dry or prone to breakage, reducing friction, slowing moisture loss and adding protection can be a really good thing.

Does that mean every product with silicones is right for every head of hair? Nope.

It means I don’t love blanket rules like “silicones are bad.”

My job is to understand what’s happening with YOUR hair and give you the information you need to make the best decisions for your hair and lifestyle.

Sometimes that might include a silicone.

And that’s not a bad thing.

Vacation hair starts before you ever leave for the trip.

Lived in color should look just as fabulous whether straight or curled.

No harsh lines, no “only looks good when styled” color. Just soft blended dimension, seamless brightness while maintaining depth.

The real test is the grow out. The color still looks intentional and gets compliments MONTHS later .

These photos prove that dimensional blonding can be low maintenance without sacrificing brightness or impact. The third photo is the grow out, the first two are the glow up. A beautiful blend strait or styled is my goal for every guest.
