Things I don’t care about as a hairstylist

There are so many things my clients apologize for during their appointment… and I’m over here like, literally none of it bothers me.

Need to work? Nap? Cry? Forgot to brush your hair? Haven’t been in for 6 months? You’re safe here. This chair isn’t just for hair it’s for YOU.

As hairstylists, we have the honor of being part of people’s real, everyday lives. And sometimes that means you show up in your sweats, with a laptop, needing to vent, or just wanting quiet. All of it is welcome.

If you’re a stylist reading this, let’s keep creating spaces that feel this comfortable. If you’re a client… we’re here for you so stop stressin’ sis 🫶🏼

Shared from another stylist but so true.

Trust me! You’ll thank me for this list! Hair appointments are THE BEST! Let’s not spoil it by ruining any of these! And there are some practical reasons for us, as well! But, just in case you are wearing something we need to remove, I have robes for you to wear during your appointment. Have you ever had a shirt ruined at the salon? #pocatello #pocatelloidaho #pocatellosalon #pocatellohair #pocatellostylist #pokyhair #pocatellobusiness
