April 2026 shifted 820 FIFTH and my comfort level in the way I operated within it.
**It’s amazing how the Lord will speak something and your thought is “Ok cool…I have time.” Nope, this train got to rolling real fast! 😂

April 2026 (before the closure of Painted Tree) the Lord gave me a “revamp” for 820 FIFTH. My response: “Ok cool.” A week or two later (the day Painted Tree suddenly announced the closure, and consequently the closure of the shop), I heard the Holy Spirit say “Pivot”. In came the panic attacks because that meant it’s really go-time now 😵‍💫

May 2026 the Lord gives further instructions into the pivot. My response: “Ok Lord, I can do that next year.”
**Lesson: stop doing that because He shows me every time just how little time I actually have lol

A couple weeks later, the opportunity to be obedient AND to pursue a years-long dream presents itself and I realize God had been preparing me all along for this very pivot 🙌🏽😭

🗣️ 820 FIFTH is officially EXPANDING into the wedding and event industry and I couldn’t be more excited!!!!
Our first event will be at the East Texas Wedding Extravaganza in Tyler TX on July 18th (my birthdayyyy!) 🎉 So if you’re getting married or know someone who is, get your tickets and meet me there! (Additional posts on event coming soon!)

Let me start off with the fact that I STILL CHOOSE JOY ☀️
Today, I and thousands of small businesses and employees received the sudden news that all Painted Tree Boutique locations have closed indefinitely. This is an announcement that none of us were prepared for, but by the grace of God, this is by no means the end of 820 FIFTH!!!

In life and especially entrepreneurship, I’ve learned to pivot. So today marks a new beginning to business as usual 🚀 I’ll keep you posted on where 820 FIFTH lands next. In the mean time, 820FIFTH.com is always here…24/7…365 so shop and sip at your hearts content! 😃
