We got our last spot filled and I am sooo excited to have Hailey join our shop family!!!

👀Here’s a little bit of what’s been happening at the shop this spring.

📆June is almost booked and July isn’t far behind. Also, I know school literally just got out, but think ahead and book the back to school appointments now before it’s too late!!!

This couldn’t explain why I do what I do any better!!!

This chair was never just about hair for me... even when I thought it was.
I thought I was building a business, chasing success, perfecting my craft-
but the whole time, God was positioning me for something bigger.

He gave me more than clients...
He gave me women, men, children, families, all with stories.
People carrying heartbreak, pressure, insecurity, silence.
And somewhere between the consultation and the highlighting or clippers going, walls start to come down.
Conversations get deeper.
And what looks like a hair appointment turns into something holy.
l've seen tears fall in this chair. l've felt the shift when heaviness lifts. l've watched women walk in unsure of themselves and leave standing a little taller, a little lighter, a little more whole.
Because it was never just about the hair.
It's about creating a space where you're safe to be real.
Where you're reminded of your worth.
Where God can meet you exactly where you are-no pressure, no performance, just presence.
I don't take that lightly.
This is my assignment.

So yes, I'll give you the hair...
but I'm also going to pour into you, pray over you (even if it's silently),
and hold space for whatever God wants to do in that moment.

I'm just the hands.

WEATHER CLOSURE UPDATE:

Hope you are staying safe and warm in this weather. All appointments for Tuesday Jan 27th are currently under STANDBY! Due to the fact that I drive into town 45minutes each way, the safety of myself, my family, and my clients, I will go by the school closures of Tyler ISD. Unless the road conditions where I live in LaRue are too unsafe for travel. If I am unable to make it, all appointments will be moved to Thursday Jan 29th for the same time, unless you’re unable to make that time and day, we will reschedule accordingly. Again, as of now, all appointments are still happening Tuesday, but are on Standby with a high probability of needing to reschedule.

For anyone that’s been trying to get a hold of me by phone or text on 903-752-3506. I apologize for the delay of getting back to any voicemails and no responses to the text messages. I am switching providers and they did not transfer this number to the new AT&T account. I have no physical phone that I can respond back to you for the text messages for that number. 🪞✂️💝✝️SMS was founded on the foundation of faith and family. A place where everyone who comes in the door be blessed when they walk in and blessed when they leave. A place where everyone feels welcomed, loved, cared for, valued, and appreciated. We laugh, we cry, we hug, y’all we can even be quiet when need be! SMS is the place where you can come as you are and be loved, be nurtured, be pampered, be YOU in whatever state that may be that day. We hope that you know we are team YOU! We love you friend…FAMILY!!!!

🕑Side note, the salon is open today, but may not be all day. Not all of us are working, Tabitha is out until Tuesday, Patty is not there today, and Kandis has the flu, so if you need something done by your stylist, check with her first to see if she’s there!

SOME of our stylists still have appointments available. So make sure to get in before it’s too late!!!

To those that do have appointments, please do your best to be on time!!!! Our girls our doing their best to accommodate everyone, so please be mindful of their schedules and if you’re late it makes them late for everyone else after you.

Also, if you are sick, reschedule! We understand you want to be beautiful for Christmas and all the things and seeing family, but so do our girls!!! Please just reschedule.
