Today we had a little fun with this color 😍 I got a little discouraged because the camera didn’t pick up the color as it was 😕 I fixed it a little but still a bit off! Love creating and formulating fun colors!! 🥰😍.

It was great creating something different 😍🫶🏼 Let’s talk about when should you get a base color when getting any type of highlight/balayage or ombre. What is a base color? Permanent color put on top of your virgin hair all over. When to do base color? When you want 2 to 3 levels lighter than your natural hair color to complement your blonde. When you want to darken your natural color to create more contrast between your blonde and the rest of your hair. When not to get base color? When you only care to see your blonde against your natural hair color. When you want to have a healthy blonde because many times base color can be more damage to you hair if the blonde is being process over that color. Make sure your stylist is asking you this questions before she starts on your service. Having a base color is not always your best option depending on you hair goals specifically if you want low maintenance. In this case this two color 👆🏽complement each other and she wanted something lighter to her natural color.

😊Today’s Story 😊 Today while waiting on a client, a coworker came in to my suite asking if I had time to do a consultation with a couple of ladies that happened to walked in the building looking for someone to do their hair. Most or at least 98% of us work by appointment only. Well I greeted both ladies and walked them back to my suite, I consulted with both and both booked appointments. One of the ladies only needed a haircut and the other needed a color touch up, highlight touch up and haircut, hair was down to her butt and very thick. When we agreed on a time and day she asked for estimated price. My price was $100 more than what her previous stylist charges her and decided to no follow through with her appointment. I totally understand and I was okay with her decision but she made a comment about dealing with seating in her chair for long hrs for what she pays her. Why am I posting this you might wonder? Well, just to point out some things when you walk in to a salon for a quote. •Consider how long this Stylist has been doing hair. Experience matters many times. •Is the stylist giving you her/his full attention and is only concentrated on you or is she/he taking other clients while you sit in her chair forgotten. •Is she/he constantly taking classes to better her/his service to bring better and faster techniques to be more beneficial to you. •And last but not least, how much those she/ he cares for your hair and your comfortability. Guys pricing is beyond of just doing hair, we put in education, time, comfortably, and many more things that goes behind of just doing hair. Be respectful of people’s pricing and work. I rather you tell me you can’t afford me and move on than booking and being disrespectful of my time and my work. It’s ok to say no, and we understand, most of us do. I am aware that I am not everyone’s fit and that is ok because I want people in my chair that values everything I put in to my business. Thank you! 💜 you all!

Thank you so much for your continues support ❤️❤️
CHEMICAL SERVICES FOR NEW/RETURNING CLIENTS !!!!
•No chemical service will be booked without a physical consultation. I need to see your hair to determine if what you’re requesting is possible. Chemical services are very unpredictable and knowing you hair’s texture, length and health will help me predict better. Same rule will apply for estimates, I can not estimate price if I don’t know what your hair looks and feels like.
•$50 deposit are required to secure your appointment. Deposit is non refundable and will be kept if you no show or fail to reschedule before 72hrs/ 3 days. In case of an EMERGENCY I will decide whether you I can grant you to reschedule with same deposit.
•Chemical services will no longer be available to be booked online, you must contact me to book.
•Rescheduling will be granted if you have good communication with me and more than a 72hr/3 days notice with same deposit.
Please understand that filling in a long hr service is hard if you no show/ cancel or reschedule with a short notice. Therefore it is not fair to me to loose income because you failed to communicate with me. The more time I get of a notice, the easier it is for me to book other people in your spot. IT’S A WIN WIN SITUATION
*****You must show me responsibility before I can no longer request a deposit from you. ****
Thank you for considering me as your new Hairstylist and for understanding the way I choose to run my business.💜
