I needed a little afternoon pick-me-up. So I whipped up this mocktail in the apothecary while I’m packing up orders and making products. Packed with heart lifting, calming, soothing and cooling herbs and it’s super yummy and refreshing!

🌸Rose Colored Glass🌸

🌸Fill a pint glass with crushed ice
🌸Half fill glass with chilled Rose Petal tea
🌸Splash of Strawberry Rose Drinking Vinegar
🌸Splash of Lemon Balm Syrup
🌸1-2 droppers of Hawthorn tincture
🌸Top with Grapefruit Seltzer water
🌸Spritz with Rose hydrosol

It’s high summer and Briar Stone Farm is bursting with medicine and life. What a week! Yoga and mocktails in the garden, new ducklings, herbal wellness consultations, a busy shop week, the second session of the Wild Folk Apprenticeship and the finale was being the last stop on the Westford Garden Tour!

There were so many familiar and new faces in the gardens and apothecary this week and so many great questions and excitement over what we are creating here!

I’m SO exhausted but so happy to have the chance to share our little slice of heaven with so many of you this week!

For years I’ve dreamt of a little cottage at the edge of town with a little witches apothecary and cottage garden, where animals were safe to roam, and friends were always welcome to drop by for a cup of tea, an herbal remedy and some good conversation. A place that felt so safe and cozy that you lose track of time when you visit and where healing, inspiration and whimsy are tucked into every corner.

We have built this dream stone by stone but I think we have finally arrived.

Big thanks to our neighbors who are the most laid back homestead partners and are up for all my wild ideas and Adam, my love, who is so unquestioningly supportive of all my botanical dreams and is willing to put in the hard work to make them realities. And to ninakittie who weeded her butt off to help me out this week and brought wine 😊

The shop and medicine gardens are open for a rare Sunday!

Briar Stone Farm is the last stop on the Westford Garden tour and I’ll have the shop open and will be serving up complimentary herbal mocktails and iced tea and offering garden and apothecary tours tomorrow from 10-3! (Donations welcome by not expected to support the Westford Common Hall).

Everything is bursting and looking particularly beautiful right now so come by to shop, learn and smell the flowers!

I’m so excited to be hosting Mindy from Mindy Pistacchio • Massage for a gentle evening yoga session at Briar Stone Farm this Wednesday!

We will be practicing while overlooking the herb garden and afterwards we will enjoy refreshing herbal mocktails and get to explore the gardens and visit with the ducks!

The apothecary shop will be open before and after the class too!

What a beautiful misty morning here Capital City Farmers Market

Adam and I got here a bit earlier than usual this morning and got all set up with time to spare. And the few stolen moments before customers flooded in were spent doing my food shopping for the week, eating a breakfast of fresh bread from Red Hen Baking Co. and the first of the summer tomatoes from Kayleigh Boyle & Doug Wolcik , catching up with our fellow vendors, and enjoying the sights, smells and sounds of the farmers market waking up.

It is so tough being a small business owner some days, and some days it is such a gift.

Come enjoy it with me and stock up on iced tea blends, tallow balms, folk remedies, salves, herbs and botanical skincare! We are here 9-1 pm!
