As we’ve wrapped up September 2026 — Year TWO of Highlands behind us — I have to stop and remember…

I prayed for this.
I prayed HARD for this. ♥️

This is the true desire of my heart.

From the very beginning, I prayed for more than just a salon. I prayed for a place where beauty, education, excellence, and faith could all coexist. A place where people could walk through the doors and feel something different. Where we strive to become the best!

I’m still praying that my vision continues to become even more in tune with what you experience here.

I want you to feel it as soon as you walk through the doors.

The music = relaxation
The cozy, plush atmosphere = peaceful
The way you’re greeted = seen
The way we communicate with you = heard
The way we work together around you = harmony

Every little detail matters to me.

And what you don’t see are many conversations, meetings, trainings, ideas, adjustments, and behind-the-scenes moments that go into creating the Highlands experience we’re always working toward.

Because this has never just been about beautiful hair.

I pray that when you’re here, you feel loved.
That you feel at peace.
That you find a little joy.
That you feel cared for.
And that when you walk back out those doors, you leave with a little more confidence than you came in with.

That’s the heart behind Highlands.

And two years later, I’m still praying for it. Still dreaming about it. Still digging deeper. Still learning. Still believing there is more ahead.

Because I prayed for this… and I don’t want to stop here. ♥️

🗓️Join instructor Laura Beth Patterson for a full day of detailed, hands-on education. Enrollment is limited to five licensed stylists so each attendee receives the individual attention this technique deserves.

🌻Pairing this class with Sarah’s IUVENI hair class to show you how to keep extensions top notch so you get to use them longer! Help their hair thrive underneath and see real results on hair extensions!

• A kit and topper to take home for continued practice
• A thin-haired mannequin provided for class use only

Please bring a water spray bottle, cutting shears, a razor, texturizing shears, and your preferred cutting and styling tools.

Class total: $800
$300 deposit to reserve your spot.
Remaining $500 due by January 1, 2027.

Introducing 🌵Sarah Hutcheson 🌵

Opening a salon was (and is) my dream. Two years ago, something even more special than I imagined opened—a space where Faith, Education, Beauty, and Friendships thrive.
I have genuinely found my place by creating this one.

This journey has been so insightful as I’m learning who I am in a completely different role as Salon Owner and Team Leader. I feel humbled thinking about how I acted like it would be easy, and yet I’m still in awe of how peaceful this journey has been. It’s amazing and yet some days I feel like who am I to think I could do this. It’s all teaching me to accept myself for who I truly am, flaws and all. This year my goal to be an educator presented itself and I took on that role as well. Learning myself has been my biggest lessons and growth.

I can definitely look back and see how, as a stylist, I was once mostly worried about my own business and growth. Now, I’m leading a team and teaching them all that I know so they can use it to thrive.
I have changed from being a booth renter to a salon owner, to educator where I am to lead, be an example, treat people how I wanted to be treated and heard, and set them up for a career they can be proud of.

I’ve seen God move in this place and allow peace over chaos. We all seek him in our day and truly that’s a way we have all grown and that’s what I’m most proud of. 🤎
