As the Covid virus continues to spread rapidly in our area, we want to take this time to remind everyone of the safety protocol we must continue to maintain at the salon.

Everyone must wear a mask upon entering the salon and during your appointment. Please keep in mind that when it comes to in-person contact, your hair stylist is working in very close proximity with multiple clients every day. Similar to that of health care workers with their patients.

Only those with an appointment should come into the salon. We want to make sure that all clients have a place to sit while waiting, and in order to effectively social distance, we ask that you only bring yourself into the salon during your appointment.

If you are sick, not feeling well, have been exposed to the virus or are waiting on test results, PLEASE reschedule and stay home. If you have the courtesy to protect my family, my other clients and me, I PROMISE you we will get you rescheduled at our earliest availability once you are in the clear!

Rest assured, we will continue to clean and sanitize the salon and all stations throughout the day and in between each client.

We owe it to each other and to our community to keep one another safe while keeping you looking fresh and beautiful.

Let’s all do our part to continue to maintain a pleasant salon experience while protecting each other so that we can get thru this awful pandemic as we look forward to a happy and HEALTHY New Year!

FINALLY!! June 5th is our official reopen date and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

Today, I had the privilege to get interviewed by Alyssa Choiniere of the Herald Standard regarding the new protocol we will be taking at the salon after we reopen. I’ll be sure to share the article once it goes to print.

I’ve missed keeping you all beautiful as much as you’ve missed getting your hair done, but as I’ve said from day one, the wellness of my clients is of the utmost importance.

Some changes in our operation will be necessary, including but not limited to wearing face masks, regular thorough sanitation of the salon and all products frequently used, and limiting clients to one at a time in the salon.

If this is our new norm for the foreseeable future, please rest assured, I will be doing everything in my power to give my clients the best experience possible when entering my salon door.

June 5th will be here before you know it. So call or message me at your earliest convenience so that we can get you scheduled .

During this time of confusion, our identities that are attached to our work and the things that we are passionate about can be lost. It’s difficult for everybody.

I tend to be a rule follower and have tried to take this time to focus on the things that I CAN control. One of those things being a total freshen-up and revamp at the salon, both inside and out! We’ve been working hard to breathe new life to the exquisite aesthetics that 200+ year old building has to offer.

Additionally, I have been delving into some wonderful cosmetology continuing education online.

So while I’d certainly like to be able to take care of my clients, I’m really trying to make the best use of my time. Time that we wouldn’t have otherwise.

I want to thank all of my clients for their kindness and patience in this time of chaos. Who really knows what the right answers are right now? I promise that when I do get the ok to reopen, I will do everything within my power and go to the ends of the earth to accommodate YOU...my clients...who all mean so much to me.
