I’ve been LOVING textured sets lately. Anyone else??

0.03 CC Curl fans on the bottom layer
0.06 CC Curl spikes on the top and middle layers

If you struggle making fans, try using a lashing palette with a bright white background. The contrast is super helpful (even when using colored lashes🥳)

💡Pro Tip: If you are using multiple curls ➰ , colors 🎨, or diameters • , using a wider tile can help separate your strips to better differentiate them🫶🏻

Is anyone else trying to be better about posting this new year? I love this graphic by , I just had to share!

Cheers to leveling up the content in 2024 🥂

One of the biggest things that’s has improved my application and retention over the years is really breaking down the prep before you even start lashing.

I like to focus on a few things:

1. 🧼Clean lashes… duh! Make sure the lashes are free of debris and make up.

2. 〰️The placement of the under eye pad. I like to use white foam tape and get it right up to the lash line.

3. 📐As shown here, the angle of the lashes before I start my extension application. (Use tape if you need to!)

🔎The closer you are to the base of the lash (the skin) , the better your retention will be and the lashes will be more true to size.

Keep in mind that some clients can feel discomfort if the lashes are super close to the skin or even if they’re touching the skin.

💡Pro Tip: Use the tip of the spoolie to push the lashes up and around and ask if there’s discomfort before you remove the under eye patches so you can adjust where needed. 🫶🏻

I have a feeling she’s smiling because she pre-booked her lash appointments for the rest of the year! 🥰

I pre-book all of my clients before they leave my salon but I do have a handful who like to book months in advance or even have a recurring appointment which I personally LOVE!

If you don’t already pre-book, I highly recommend it! It’s so much easier on everyone. 🫶🏻
