🌑 Tonight’s sky is at its darkest—and that’s a good thing.

The New Moon peaks July 14 at 5:43 AM EDT, leaving the night sky free of bright moonlight. That means tonight is one of the best nights of the month for stargazing.

With the Moon out of the way, you’ll have a better chance to spot the Milky Way, faint constellations, satellites, and even a few early meteors from July’s upcoming showers.

✨ If you have clear skies, step outside after dark, let your eyes adjust for about 20 minutes, and look up.
