What better way to celebrate the spring equinox than with pink highlights?! I literally just finished this Partial Blonde with a pink gloss and had to immediately share it with the gram cus I’m so obsessed!! 🤩

For this we did a full highlight with a base bump to lighten up her natural hair color left out between the foils, creating a brighter blonde while keeping dimension.

Highlights were done to create dimension, a root shadow to blend everything at the root and creating a softer grow out, and we toned with a gloss to achieve a perfect bronde shade 🤎

She came to me and said “Emmy I wanna be a cool toned blonde” and of course I said okay! But there were a couple things we had to consider:

1. We had been glossing her a medium dark brown since November
2. Because we were lightening the hair that had been previously colored multiple times, I couldn’t guarantee that we could get super light and cool toned, but that I could get us as close to that as possible
3. She also said that maybe she would want to go darker again for fall/winter so I decided to blonde her up without getting rid of all the brown. That way it’s easier on her hair next time if we decide to go dark again or if she wants to go brighter.

So with that I created a beachy brunette with obvious blonde vibes mixed in 🏝️ a versatile amount of brightness that can go lighter or darker next time!
