Overthinking and overwhelmed?
You can shift these right now if you really wanted to. By moving your attention, intention and awareness into the body. Into physical activity. Wether it be writing, dancing, stretching, art, exercise, absorbing sunlight, walking, listening to music. Doesn’t matter what activity you choose. What matters is that you shift into your senses - the sensual self - to FEEL and identify with your body rather than holding onto all those thoughts in your mind. Move the body, lose the mind ✨
The neck is the bridge between the mind and the body - it carries a lot of pressure from the weight of the head and now with technology so prevalent in our culture, nearly everyone has tech neck! This is the most common place where people have holding patterns of tension. In my practice, I like to give a lot of attention here - with stretches, long relaxing strokes and acupressure points of the back of the head. Releasing the buildup in the neck can restore the mind body connection, allowing one to be more in touch with the body rather than over- identifying with the mind.

💚 Before starting any session I introduce aromas to activate the limbic system and enter into a different head space. Bergamot or lavender are my usual go-tos. Then a little intention setting. I invite my client on the table to take a few deep breaths to ground in and drop into a space of pure receiving. Loving my office this past Saturday. We were surrounded by lush greenery, art and hummingbirds feeding on flowers

The body was made to move and if you’re not exercising and stretching regularly, then toxins and lymphatic fluid builds up in the body. The only way to get the lymph to flush is through exercise, movement or massage.

✨ Magic money mantra ✨
“Money comes to me easily and magically!”
For the last year I’ve been affirming this and acknowledging all the moments when it happens. And it has been happening weekly. Today someone left $19 on my windshield. Now I know $19 isn’t much, however, it is a gift from the universe that shows me that I am abundant and that this mantra works. This is but one small example of many that have shown up in my life. It’s important to notice the magical synchronicities to amplify their occurrences and keep them coming.
Feel free to use this mantra and make it your own by changing any of the words around so it feels authentic to you 🙌🏼
