Post surgery massage and Body contouring

Facelift scars don’t always have to remain noticeable. 🤍

This client came to us with visible scarring around the ear following a facelift procedure. Using paramedical scar camouflage tattooing, pigment was carefully customized to complement her natural skin tone and help reduce the visual contrast of the scar.

The photos show the progression from BEFORE → DURING → just a few days AFTER the session.

✨ Scar camouflage is a process. The pigment will continue to settle and soften as the skin heals, so this is not the final healed result.

Our goal isn’t to erase your story—it’s to help the scar blend more naturally with the surrounding skin and restore confidence in areas that may still remind you of surgery.

Not every hard area after surgery is fibrosis.

This client was experiencing induration and tissue firmness during her recovery. Our focus was hands-on care, proper compression, movement and supporting healthy habits at home while her body continued to heal.

Induration and fibrosis are not the same thing, which is why understanding what you’re feeling and seeing during recovery matters.

Love seeing our patients’ recovery come together 🤍

Beautiful surgical work by Dr. Joumblat, with post-op care by our team at THT Contour.

Our focus throughout her recovery has been managing the swelling and tissue changes, protecting the skin, making sure her compression is appropriate, and helping her body heal as smoothly as possible.

Surgery is only one part of the journey. What you do during recovery matters too.

5 WEEKS POST-OP ✨ Individualized recovery matters.

This client’s recovery required us to think beyond the “typical” post-op compression protocol.

Due to different concerns that presented during her healing process, her compression had to be modified and adjusted according to what her body and skin could safely tolerate. Our priority wasn’t putting her into the tightest garment possible—it was protecting tissue integrity while addressing swelling, fluid retention, tissue firmness, and overall contour.

Using the Beckker Method™ Lymphatic Flushing, we focused on supporting her recovery progressively while continuously reassessing how her tissues responded.

At only 5 weeks post-op, you can already see a beautiful change in her swelling, waist definition, back contour, and overall shape. 🤍

Post-op recovery is not one-size-fits-all. Neither is compression.
Sometimes the safest recovery plan looks different from what you see on social media—and that’s exactly why proper assessment matters.

💧 STOP OVERTHINKING YOUR POST-OP HYDRATION. WATER FIRST.

After the first 72 hours, make plain water your MAIN source of hydration unless your surgeon tells you otherwise.

Some electrolyte drinks, sports drinks & coconut waters contain sodium — and during recovery, too much sodium may contribute to water retention and extra puffiness. 👀🧂

Check the label.
💧 Prioritize water
🧂 Be sodium-aware

Your post-op results aren’t only about your massages and faja — what you consume matters too.

Always follow your surgeon’s individual hydration recommendations.

Healing isn’t just about time—it’s about having the right plan. ✨

These photos were taken 2 weeks apart. With a personalized home care routine, appropriate compression, movement, hydration, and consistent in-clinic treatments, you can see a noticeable difference in tissue quality.

In the first photo, the tissue showed fluid retention, swelling, and visible skin indentations. Two weeks later, the tissue appears smoother with improved skin mobility and reduced fluid buildup.

Every recovery is different. There is no “one-size-fits-all” timeline. The right protocol should always be based on your body’s healing, skin integrity, and individual needs.

At THT Contour, our Beckker Method™ focuses on supporting the body’s natural recovery process through evidence-informed post-operative care.

✨ Results vary by individual and depend on following both home care and professional recommendations.

STOP CALLING IT MANUAL LYMPHATIC MASSAGE IF YOU’RE USING OIL OR CREAM.

The lymphatic system isn’t activated by rubbing products into the skin. It responds to gentle skin traction and stretch.

If your therapist is sliding across your body with oils and creams, they may be giving you a relaxing massage—but that’s not true Manual Lymphatic Massage.

Real lymphatic work is about:

* Skin traction
* Lymphatic activation
* Supporting detoxification and healing
* Respecting the physiology of the lymphatic system

More product doesn’t mean better results.

Your body deserves science-based care.

Save this post for your next post-op appointment and ask your therapist why they’re using oil.

Plastic surgery is only part of the journey—recovery is where the real work begins.

Not every lymphatic massage therapist is trained in post-operative rehabilitation, and not every post-op body should be treated the same. Fibrosis, induration, skin integrity, compression, and proper healing protocols require specialized knowledge and experience.

Your results don’t just depend on your surgeon. They also depend on who guides your recovery.

Because when it comes to post-op care, “good enough” isn’t good enough.

Fibrosis. Fajas. Fake experts. Let’s talk about it.

“Your recovery can make or break your results.”

This beautiful transformation is a reminder that post-operative care matters.

After surgery, this client unknowingly used the wrong cushion instead of a proper BBL pillow. The excessive pressure affected her contour and healing process. Something as simple as using the wrong pillow can significantly impact your surgical outcome.

Plastic surgery doesn’t end in the operating room. Your final results are influenced by the choices you make during recovery—how you sit, sleep, eat, compress, and care for your body.

At THT Contour ReHab Studio, we don’t just perform lymphatic treatments. The Beckker Method™ focuses on tissue rehabilitation, lymphatic flushing, scar tissue management, and post-operative education to help protect and optimize your results.

Invest in your recovery as much as you invest in your surgery.
