Happy Birthday to one of our littles — our lively, generous, and deeply loving Malee. 💛

You keep our lives full of laughter, light, and endless energy, and it has been so special watching you grow into such a beautiful soul. We are beyond excited to have you working more alongside us at Unearth Malee, carrying your creativity, warmth, and heart into everything you do.

Especially during AAPINH Heritage Month, it feels extra meaningful to celebrate you and the beautiful name you carry. “Malee,” meaning jasmine flower in Thai, was the name of my grandmother, Khun Yai Malee — a name filled with love, strength, heritage, and family history. Watching you carry her name so beautifully into the next generation feels incredibly special and emotional. You embody so much warmth, kindness, and joy, and I know she would be so proud.

We love you tremendously and can’t wait to see all the beautiful things ahead for you. ✨

I had the most heartwarming 💕 time speaking with a group of elementary students and sharing my journey as an entrepreneur.

In the midst of the daily grind—production, orders, and everything in between—it was such a beautiful pause to step back and talk about what I truly love…creating, building, and turning passion into something meaningful.

Their curiosity, excitement, and creativity were so inspiring. They came up with the most amazing ideas—and I’m genuinely excited to try some of them out…coming soon! ✨

It was a beautiful reminder of why I started in the first place.
Grateful for the opportunity to share my art, my story, and hopefully spark something in the next generation.

*A piece of a custom batch of Lemon Lime dish soaps went home to each student encouraging them to wash some dishes!

We honor the life and legacy of Dr. Birutė Galdikas—a woman whose heart, spirit, and life’s work were devoted to protecting the gentle souls of Borneo’s rainforests.

Dr. Galdikas was not only a brilliant scientist, but a deeply kind and warm human being. Those who met her often speak of her quiet strength, her compassion, and the genuine love she carried for both people and animals alike. There was something incredibly grounding about her presence—like the forest itself.

I remember feeling so nervous the first time I met her—standing in the presence of someone whose life’s work I so deeply admired. But the moment she greeted me, she embraced me with the warmest smile and such gentle kindness. It wasn’t intimidating—it was comforting. In that moment, I felt her humility, her openness, and the genuine care she carried for others. It’s something I will never forget.

For decades, she lived among the orangutans of Borneo, learning from them, advocating for them, and fighting tirelessly to protect their fragile home. Through her work at Camp Leakey, she helped the world see orangutans not just as animals, but as deeply intelligent, emotional beings—so much like us.

As she once said:
“When I first went to Borneo, I thought I would be teaching orangutans about humans. Instead, they taught me what it means to be human.”

Her life reminds us of what it means to live with purpose. To protect. To nurture. To stand for something greater than ourselves.

In a world that often moves too quickly, she chose to slow down, to listen, and to dedicate her life to the preservation of something sacred.

May we carry forward her legacy—with gentleness, with courage, and with a deep respect for all living beings.
Rest in peace, Dr. Galdikas. Your work lives on in every tree protected, every orangutan saved, and every heart you’ve inspired
