Wolf Moon Body Care

It has been really quiet over here at WMBC, because I decided to have my appendix explode last week. A stubborn spouse (with a dash of guilt from a child who was worried about their mom), and the fantastic nursing care I got from Gettysburg hospital, and I’m back home slowly recouping myself.
Working on some cloths for the shop while I am made to sit and sleep.

Eureka! Runt of the Litter, unmolded and setting up beautifully here at WMBC HQ.
These are made with olive oil, lard, cocoa butter, and shea butter.
They are also the only bars I make with a lettered top so they don’t get confused with any other soap around the shop.

Runt of the Litter, attempt 2, since the first batch was so soft and wouldn’t set up.
It went better today, so either the oils listened to me, or I’m just getting back in the groove.
Like riding a bicycle if a bicycle could burn your skin off if you don’t pay attention.

Took the kid to a drive through animatronic dinosaur display on Saturday, and naturally I had to hit a yarn store. Why? Because it was a new yarn store and I'm me, that's why.
Stumbled upon Ewe & Me in York, and it was absolutely gorgeous on the inside and had local yarn right by the door (I try to buy from a local dyer wherever I am because local support).
I didn't stay long, we were on a schedule, but I snagged a skein each of Shirsty Cat Just Sock in their Confetti colorway, and a Crabapple Yarns Keen Sock in their Vermont Falling. I will be going back.
She does online orders too!

Signed up to be part of my local farmers market this spring and summer! So it’s a creation grind to make sure what I take will be good to go when I set up my tent.
In the large round cups we have Full Moon Banquet dish soap we’re trying out, the little blue and pink molds are Runt of the Litter for the little pups running wild this time of year.

I've pinpointed the pennyroyal, the grass, the musk... now I need something that smells like blood but isn't blood (for very obvious reasons).
And apparently there is ONE company that makes it... if I order in a 25 pound drum.
So off to the drawing board again!
