We’re excited to share that Salon 86 will be participating in the Urbandale 4th of July Parade this Saturday, July 4th!

As part of our parade entry, we’re honored to feature the newly crowned Miss Iowa USA, Madeline Erickson, and Miss Iowa Teen USA, Avery Bradley, riding with us in celebration.

As the Official Hair Salon Sponsor of Miss Iowa USA and Miss Iowa Teen USA since 2011, it’s always a special honor to support these incredible young women and be part of their journey.

If you’ll be attending the parade, keep an eye out for our Salon 86 entry... we’d love to see you along the route! Be sure to wave and help us cheer on Iowa’s newest titleholders.

Parade begins at 10:00 AM and follows its traditional route:
📍 Starts near Old City Hall at 70th & Oliver Smith Drive
⬆️ Heads north on 70th Street to Aurora Avenue
⬅️ Continues west on Aurora to 82nd Street

Poppy takes her appearance very seriously, and as you can see, she's celebrating her big day looking absolutely fabulous thanks to her talented groomer, Hannah. After all, a girl with this level of star power has a reputation to maintain. ✨

A huge shoutout to Hannah and her amazing partners, Ily and Marissa, on the opening of Fluff and Beyond Luxury Dog Salon! They keep Poppy looking red-carpet ready and spoiled exactly as she deserves to be.

After all of the preparation, dedication, courage, and hard work, today is the day these incredible young women take the stage for the final competition.

We’ve had the privilege of getting to know these contestants, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them. The confidence, grace, determination, and heart they’ve shown throughout this journey are what make them truly remarkable.

No matter what happens tonight, every contestant has already accomplished something extraordinary. You’ve challenged yourselves, grown, inspired others, and represented your communities beautifully.
